Additional info for you guys: I hope it charges wirelessly with a case because I believe in putting phones in cases even though you have the most durable glass ever. And right now, wireless charging with a case on the phone isn't happening.
The old phones are more durable because they had smaller and less capable screens. If you want a durablephone, then like I said, go back to one of those. That is what you need. By humoring the market buying things that you don’t like you’re exacerbating a problem
Markets operate based off purchasing power. Your sentiment of an object doesn’t matter to a producer if you are still spending money on said product. So to resolve your issue you can invest in durable screens as a technology or you can purchase phones which do not have glass.
I'm not sure why this thread is mocking @JRichardson_44 . The flip phone he's had since jr. high is easily 15 times more durable than your fancy showboat pixel phone. Or that widescreen TV @CarlosTothMan carries with him.
1.) responsive, hell yes
2.) Durable, I've dropped it plenty. No cracked screen, no mechanical issues.
BUT, lemme ask my dad about his phone real quick. He's a contractor, specifically got a phone that could stand up to insane work environments.
@SamsungMobileUS please offer the #s9 active as unlocked. I am one of the many @verizon customers who would love a durable Samsung flagship phone , but look elsewhere because it isn't offered in a CDMA variant. :(
